Tania Mackie is Director of International Safeguarding and Digital Transformation at Lightspeed Systems, where she works on student safety and educational effectiveness at scale, giving schools the visibility, insight and control they need to create safe, inclusive and effective digital learning environments. She leads global programmes, frameworks and campaigns that support schools, education systems and policymakers on online safety, safeguarding and responsible technology use, working as a strategic adviser with schools, ministries, regulators and partners to translate evidence and policy into practical, measurable change. She brings more than 25 years of experience in UK education leadership, including roles as head teacher, strategic lead for digital education and quality improvement manager, alongside leadership of specialist assistive technology and inclusion services.
