Tamara Fakhoury

Tamara Fakhoury is an educational technology, digital innovation and strategic transformation leader with more than 20 years of experience in the Middle East and North Africa and Canada, specializing in curriculum development, technology integration, teacher training and AI literacy. Her work focuses on practical, responsible approaches to innovation in education. She leads AI ethics, governance and implementation aligned with the Responsible AI in Learning (RAIL) framework, contributing to her school receiving the RAIL endorsement and being featured in international publications on AI and innovation in learning. Her experience includes developing digital strategies, policies and frameworks on AI, safeguarding, acceptable use and data protection, and leading innovation initiatives such as technology summits, STEM and robotics programmes, digital examinations and innovation spaces. She speaks and sits on panels at regional education and leadership events on responsible AI, digital transformation and educational leadership.
