Tamar Demetradze

Founding Principal

Tamar Demetradze is the Founding Head of Buckswood School Riyadh. She holds a PhD in English philology and has worked as a university educator and academic specialist, giving her expertise in curriculum development, teacher training and educational planning. She leads the school’s strategic development, building a culture of academic excellence aligned with the British curriculum and the IB Primary Years Programme framework. She oversees the recruitment and development of teaching staff through a rigorous recruitment approach that ensures educators meet the school’s standards and share its vision and values, and she is committed to the Buckswood 12 Pillars philosophy of nurturing confident, capable and globally minded learners.
