Lead Counsellor and Designated Safeguarding Lead

Syeda Sheena Raheman is a counselling professional, mental health specialist and healthcare practitioner working to promote emotional wellbeing, safeguarding and holistic development in educational and clinical settings. With a foundation in pharmacology and healthcare, including experience with the NHS, she developed expertise in medicines management and patient-centred care, which led her to specialize in psychology, counselling and special educational needs. As Lead Counsellor and Designated Safeguarding Lead at Beech Hall School Riyadh she oversees safeguarding processes, supports student wellbeing and works with multidisciplinary teams to ensure ethical, child-centred practice, supporting children and young people with social, emotional and behavioural challenges through personalized, evidence-based approaches that build resilience and confidence. She integrates healthcare knowledge with educational psychology and is pursuing a doctorate in psychology and counselling.
