Shanti Mohan

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Shanti Mohan is the co-founder and chief executive of LetsVenture, an Indian platform for angel investment in early-stage startups that she founded in Bengaluru in 2013. It has facilitated more than nine hundred investments with a portfolio valued at over $8 billion and is backed by Accel and Chiratae Ventures alongside prominent industry figures. She is also chief executive of trica, the group's equity management and transaction platform. She studied electrical engineering at the Birsa Institute of Technology in Sindri and spent close to two decades in the technology industry, including a long period at NetApp and programme management roles at Hewlett Packard, and co-founded Premium Logic Systems and Ionic Microsystems. As an angel investor she has backed more than forty startups across consumer internet, embedded technology and enterprise, launched the Propell micro fund, and is a nominated member of the Alternative Investment Policy Advisory Committee of the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
