Samir Benmakhlouf
Founder
Samir Benmakhlouf is the founder of London Academy, a British smart school with three campuses in Casablanca and Rabat. He began his career in the United States in industrial IT consulting and academia before joining Microsoft in 1998, where he rose to Country General Manager for Algeria, Bahrain and Morocco and later led Microsoft’s global Connectivity Solutions initiative. He twice received the Microsoft CEO Award and drove major e-government, e-banking and education technology programs, including the inclusion of the Tifinagh script in Windows 8. As an entrepreneur he brought CENTURY 21 to Morocco and launched the Arsenal Soccer School in Casablanca. He has served on the CGEM Ethics Commission, as Vice President of the Morocco American Chamber of Commerce and on the APEBI board. He holds a PhD in textile technology and management from North Carolina State University and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in industrial engineering from the University of South Florida.
