Reham Elshamy
Head of Secondary
Reham Elshamy is an educational leader and international speaker who presents regularly at education conferences, with extensive experience in curriculum leadership, academic strategy and whole-school improvement in international education. Her work is driven by the belief that education must evolve to prepare students not only for academic success but for a complex and rapidly changing world. She holds a PGCE and a master’s degree in international education from the University of Sunderland, and she is undertaking the National Professional Qualification for Headship. As Head of Secondary she leads academic strategy, overseeing curriculum coherence, professional development and quality assurance, and works with senior and middle leaders to ensure curriculum intent is clearly articulated and consistently implemented, aligning strategic priorities with day-to-day teaching and learning. Her focus areas include competency-based education, AI in education and innovation, exploring how schools can develop transferable skills and future-ready learners.
