Rana Tamim

Professor

Rana Tamim is the founder and CEO of edubridges and a professor of educational technology. She is the former Dean of the College of Education at Zayed University in the United Arab Emirates, where she also served as Advisor to the Provost, and she teaches graduate courses at OISE, University of Toronto, and at the Faculty of Education of Wilfrid Laurier University. Her teaching experience spans more than 30 years, including university instruction and supervision, in-service adult training and K–12 teaching and coordination in several countries, and she has extensive experience in educational leadership and in national and international programme accreditation. She has an established publication record in peer-reviewed journals with more than 9,800 Google Scholar citations. Her research focuses on knowledge synthesis through systematic reviews to inform policy and practice, with an emphasis on educational leadership and the role of digital technologies in improving student learning and designing student-centred learning environments.
