He previously ran Russia's Tinkoff, leading its evolution from a consumer-lending startup into one of the world's most successful digital financial ecosystems. Appointed board chairman in June 2025 alongside other global directors joining the board, he also serves on the board of Tabby, the MENA shopping and financial-services app.
