Nesreen Othman Basalem is Assistant Head of the Clinical Laboratory at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre, with over 17 years of leadership experience in flow cytometry, cellular therapy, hematology, and transplant processing services. She has directed quality management for the BMT Processing Laboratory, achieving JACIE accreditation with exceptional outcomes, and contributed to many operational modernization projects and advanced laboratory procurement planning. She has direct oversight of accreditation compliance, risk management, quality auditing, protocol validation, and strategic laboratory performance optimization across high-complexity clinical laboratory services.
