Naji Al Faisal Al Tamimi

Naji Al Faisal Al Tamimi has been Chief Executive Officer of the Insurance Authority of Saudi Arabia since his appointment in November 2023. The authority regulates the Kingdom's insurance sector after its separation from the central bank. He holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from King Saud University, awarded in 1995, trained with the reinsurer Munich Re at its headquarters in Munich, and holds the professional qualification of the Chartered Insurance Institute in the United Kingdom. His insurance career spans more than 27 years, including several chief executive roles: he served as senior managing director and chief executive for growth and investment at Marsh McLennan in Saudi Arabia, was previously chief executive of Bayt Al Tameen and its digital brokerage platform Tameeni, and served as chief executive and board member of Aon Saudi Arabia as well as regional executive director for its business in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain.
