Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Naif AbuSaida is the founder and chief executive of Hakbah, a Saudi fintech that digitises group savings known locally as jameya. The company was founded in 2018, launched in 2020 and has passed one million users, working with partners including Tawuniya, Flynas, Riyad Bank and Arab National Bank, backed by regional investors including Global Ventures, VentureSouq and Aditum Asset Management, and profitable since 2023. His career spans more than twenty-five years across banking, energy, power and water, healthcare, telecoms, aviation, logistics, tourism and technology at organisations including NEOM, Public Investment Fund projects, ACWA Power, GE, Riyad Bank and Samba. He earlier worked as a technology journalist, writer and television anchor for outlets including Orbit TV, Aleqtisadiyah and Alriyadh newspapers, and holds a bachelor's degree in media and journalism from Jazan University.
