Mumtaaz Shakoor is an education professional and instructional leader with more than 16 years of teaching and leadership experience in elementary and primary education. At Riyadh Schools Hittin she is Acting Academic Vice Principal for Grades 1 and 2 and Head of the English Department, driving academic excellence, teacher development and school improvement. She has a strong background in curriculum design, assessment systems and data-informed instruction, using tools such as MAP and formative tracking to support student growth and targeted intervention, and she works with teachers and senior leaders through coaching, professional development and structured mentoring to ensure consistent standards. She is committed to learning cultures rooted in inclusion, wellbeing and strong relationships, and her continued connection to the classroom helps her balance strategy with practice. She is pursuing a master’s degree in educational leadership focused on transformational and instructional leadership, school improvement frameworks and reflective practice.
