Mohammed AlShammasi has been Chief Executive Officer of Derayah Financial since September 2016. The firm is among the leading brokerage, asset management and digital investment platforms in Saudi Arabia. He has more than twenty years of experience across financial services, capital markets, corporate strategy, investment management and advisory. Before becoming chief executive he was the company's chief investment officer, responsible for investment activity across multiple asset classes, and before joining Derayah he was head of investment management at NCB Capital and earlier a portfolio manager at Riyad Bank. He graduated with honours from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and completed management and leadership programmes at Harvard Business School, Duke University and INSEAD. He was named in the Forbes Middle East list of the region's strongest asset managers for 2025.
