Miriam Khalil
Director of Academic Advising and Student Success
Miriam Khalil is an educator and student affairs professional with a record of advancing academic excellence across the GCC. She has advised diverse student populations in engineering, business, international relations, journalism and media studies, and her career spans student retention, recruitment and quality enhancement, reporting directly to senior academic leadership. She is skilled in data analysis and reporting on retention, first-year experience, institutional effectiveness and accreditation, has led training for new staff and developed operational manuals, and works closely with student affairs, registrar, institutional effectiveness, admissions and recruitment teams. She contributes to curriculum, quality enhancement and student retention committees, is a published author on education and artificial intelligence and speaks at local and international conferences. She is Regional Director of IASAS in the Middle East, a board member of MENASA NASPA and a member of the NACADA Global Steering Committee.
