Miguel Blanco-Carrasco

Miguel Blanco-Carrasco is an arts and culture executive with two decades leading large-scale cultural initiatives internationally, with a concentration on the Gulf. Originally from Madrid, he is a public art specialist and strategy adviser focused on transforming urban space through cultural and creative programmes. He arrived in the Gulf in 2008, living first in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, then moved to Doha to work at Qatar Museums leading cultural diplomacy programmes, and has since served as an adviser to the Royal Commission for Riyadh City on the Riyadh Art and Riyadh Life programmes. He holds a master of science in international relations from the University of London and a law degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and trained in leadership at the Center for Creative Leadership in Colorado.
