Jimi Elgohary

Executive Creative Director & Co-Founder at Mistika

Jimi Elgohary is executive creative director and co-founder of Mistika, an award-winning entertainment and culture production house based in the United Arab Emirates, launched by the founders of Event Lab together with him. He founded the company on the observation of a mismatch between the scale of events in the region and the depth of cultural storytelling reaching their stages, and built it around research-based cultural and heritage programming, a vetted pool of regional artists and folk performers, and original live concepts designed to travel. He co-founded Jimirazz in 2015, a Cairo-based event and entertainment resourcing company, and since 2005 has fronted the Egyptian indie-pop band Salalem.
