Khalid Al-Hajeri

Vice President, Building Materials and Technologies

Dr. Khalid Al-Hajeri is Vice President for Building Materials and Technologies at the National Industrial Development Center, where he leads national initiatives to localise industries, promote innovation and drive sustainability in the Saudi construction materials sector. He has more than thirty three years of technical and executive experience, including twenty five years in the steel industry. He began his career at the SABIC research and development centre and later led the Home of Innovation initiative. He holds a doctorate in materials science and engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and sits on the technical committee for iron products at the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization.
