Hillal Karaali

Vice Principal

Hillal Karaali is an international education leader born and raised in Australia, with a background in both Western and Middle Eastern education systems. He began his studies in sport and exercise science before moving into education, completing a Master of Secondary Teaching and a Master of Special Education. As Vice Principal for Project 10 at Misk Schools he leads experiential learning initiatives, national and international competitions, olympiads and scholarship pathways designed to develop student leaders in line with Vision 2030. An advocate for wellbeing, he believes academic excellence rests on a healthy body and mind and models balance and resilience through sport and fitness. He won the Australian television show The Mole in 2013.
