Gbite Oduneye is chair of Indexa Exchange Group and founder and managing partner of the venture firm ODBA. He has more than two decades of experience across entrepreneurship, finance and capital markets, sits on several boards and speaks globally on venture capital, innovation and company building. At Indexa he leads the Africa Tech 50 Index, which showcases Africa's most scaled, IPO-prepared or market-ready private technology companies to global investors and the investment banking community. After its launch on the London Stock Exchange the index moved into an African exchange activation phase, which he describes as an important step in making Africa's growth story more visible, more comparable and more institutionally legible. He studied at UWE Bristol and at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
