Farid Huseynov is chief executive of the Bir ecosystem in Azerbaijan, the first fully integrated banking, payments and e-commerce ecosystem in the Caucasus. Launched in 2025 to unite the country's leading brands, it comprises Birbank, the Birmarket e-commerce platform, the m10 e-wallet and the Milliön payment terminal network, and reaches more than five million users. He previously served as chairman of the board of Kapital Bank, the country's first bank and part of Pasha Holding, which now operates as Birbank and serves customers through a mobile app with over three million active users and the largest branch network in Azerbaijan. Bir has been named among the world's leading fintech companies by CNBC and Statista alongside companies such as Nubank, Revolut and Monzo, the first company from Azerbaijan and the South Caucasus to appear on that list.
