Farhan Hassan is chief digital officer at Easypaisa Digital Bank in Pakistan, based in Islamabad. He has more than fifteen years of experience in product management and digital financial services, having previously worked at Telenor Microfinance Bank and the Telenor group. At Easypaisa he leads the bank's digital product agenda; the platform is among the most widely used mobile payment and financial services platforms in Pakistan and has become a licensed digital bank. His work includes deploying generative artificial intelligence in financial services through a partnership with Ant International and TNG Digital. He takes part in public discussion of financial inclusion, embedded insurance and digital banking models in emerging markets. He completed a product management nanodegree at Udacity in 2020, and his expertise covers marketing strategy, pricing and customer segmentation.
