Falak Shaikhani

Founder and Director

Falak Shaikhani is an educationist and entrepreneur with more than a decade of experience shaping education from the early years through Grade 12. She completed her master’s degree at the London School of Economics and Political Science and began her career in London as a consultant at Deloitte, working in strategy, organizational development and business transformation before moving into education. As Founder and Director of The Aster School she has led its growth from inception into an educational network with a distinctive child-centred approach, grounded in the belief that education should nurture the whole child by building character, confidence, independence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. Drawing on Montessori, Reggio Emilia and the Finnish approach, she places character education at the heart of the school’s philosophy. She is now leading the school’s entry into Saudi Arabia in partnership with the Royal Commission for Riyadh City through the launch of its first international campus in Riyadh, in alignment with the ambitions of Vision 2030.
