Fahad bin Mubarak Al Guthami has been Chief Executive Officer of American Express Saudi Arabia since October 2022, leading the company's growth plan in the Kingdom across commercial payments, the premium consumer segment, product innovation and digitisation. His career at American Express Saudi Arabia spans more than sixteen years, rising through senior roles including chief operating officer and then deputy chief executive before taking his current post. Before joining the company he was chief executive of several Saudi companies and served as executive adviser to the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Mississippi, awarded in 1995, and has completed executive development programmes at INSEAD, London Business School and Harvard Business School.
