Erwan Gelebart is chief executive of AXIAN Digibank & Fintech, leading the AXIAN group's financial services strategy across Africa with a customer base of more than twenty-three million. He has over fifteen years of experience in digital transformation and fintech in emerging markets, building a career at the intersection of innovation and inclusion. Before his current role he held senior leadership positions including chief executive of JazzCash, the mobile financial services platform in Pakistan, chief executive of Orange Madagascar, chief digital officer at Orange and managing director for digital financial services at Grameenphone, scaling mobile payment platforms in those markets. He chairs the GSMA Mobile Money Leadership Group, where he advocates for expanding financial services, financial inclusion and Africa-led innovation, particularly across sub-Saharan Africa.
