Dheeraj Mehrotra is Vice President of the GEMS Education India region and an educational leader with more than three decades of experience. He received the President of India’s National Teacher Award in 2006 on the recommendation of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, and he is certified in Six Sigma (White and Yellow Belt), neuro-linguistic programming and total quality management. He specializes in academic audits, school quality assurance and accreditation, and the implementation of Kaizen and 5S in schools. He has published more than 200 books on subjects including computer science, artificial intelligence, digital body language, quality circles and school management, and has developed more than 150 free educational mobile apps for teachers, students and parents, an achievement recognized by the Limca Book of Records and the India Book of Records. He has served as principal of De Indian Public School in New Delhi, NPS International School in Guwahati and Kunwar’s Global School in Lucknow, and as an Education Officer at GEMS Education in Gurgaon. As a Udemy instructor he has created more than 500 courses reaching more than 800,000 learners in 180 countries. He is Founder Chairman of the IoT Society of India, has been appointed a mentor for the National Mission for Mentoring and the National Council for Teacher Education of the Government of India, and has trained more than 15,000 educators worldwide.
