Cordel Robbin-Coker

Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer

Cordel Robbin-Coker is the co-founder and chief executive of Carry1st, a mobile games publishing and digital payments platform that opens the African market to global gaming studios. Born in Sierra Leone and raised in the United States, he holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Stanford University. He began his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley and spent a decade in finance between Morgan Stanley and The Carlyle Group across the United States, Europe and Africa, most recently as a vice president in Carlyle's first Africa fund. In November 2016 he joined the board of Amrod, a business-to-business ecommerce company, leaving in May 2018 to co-found Carry1st. He is a director of the Milton Hershey School and the endowment that supports it, and an active angel investor with more than twenty investments in Africa-focused technology startups.
