Music Teacher

Celia Perez is a music educator, vocal specialist and curriculum designer who has taught internationally in the Middle East since 2021, delivering student-centred music education in diverse, multicultural schools. She graduated from the University of the Arts in Cuba with training in vocal performance, music education, piano, musicology and choral conducting, a multidisciplinary background that shapes her holistic approach of integrating performance, theory and cultural context. She holds a postgraduate qualification and is pursuing a master’s degree in education at Liverpool John Moores University, focusing on modern teaching methodologies and effective learning strategies. She has taught at international schools including SABIS International School and Raffles International School in Dubai, across the Foundation Stage, primary and secondary levels, and she now teaches music at the British International School Riyadh with a curriculum built on active participation, creativity and performance. She has also created online music courses published on platforms such as Udemy.
