Brad Maiden

General Manager, Middle East

Brad Maiden is General Manager for the Middle East at d&b audiotechnik, the German loudspeaker and audio systems manufacturer founded in 1981 and widely specified for stadiums, arenas and touring productions. Stadium audio is a safety system before it is an entertainment one: the public address has to stay intelligible to a full bowl under emergency conditions, which is a measured requirement in code, not a matter of loudness. Audio in an open bowl faces echo and reflection from hard surfaces, so it is distributed across steered arrays rather than one central loudspeaker cluster.
