Bilal El Jrad is an educational leader with more than 20 years of experience in international education, serving in senior secondary leadership in the United Arab Emirates. He began his career as a high school mathematics teacher, an experience that shapes his leadership philosophy that no student should be left behind and keeps his focus on teaching quality and student learning. He has progressed through roles as Head of Department, Assessment Coordinator, Vice Principal and Head of School, leading American and IB-aligned programs within national education frameworks. His strength lies in building sustainable systems that improve teaching and learning rather than relying on short-term initiatives, with clear structures for planning, assessment, coaching and accountability. He has led whole-school systems that turn assessment data from MAP Growth, CAT4, PSAT, IBT and AP results into classroom strategies such as goal-setting, differentiation and targeted intervention, helping teachers move from data awareness to data-driven instruction. He has extensive experience in strengthening student–teacher relationships, professional development, coaching cycles and middle leadership development.
