Benjamin Joel Breboneria

Benjamin Joel L. Breboneria, known to colleagues as Benjo, is an assistant professor of nursing at Almoosa College of Health Sciences with a long career in nursing education and leadership. In Saudi Arabia he is known for pioneering the development of RN-to-BSN and graduate nursing programs, and he worked with his faculty to achieve accreditation of his school of nursing by a United States organization, a rarity in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East that has enabled colleagues to replicate the achievement. Recognizing early the potential of social media and online learning platforms, he pioneered professional development in nursing leadership and empowerment in the Kingdom, developing and leading nearly 100 online webinars and training events that have brought together thousands of nurses and other professionals from more than 30 countries, and building a wide global network of nursing colleagues at every stage of professional development.
