Basem Aljedai
Co-Founder
Basem Aljedai is a co-founder of Moyasar, a Saudi payments company whose API-based payment gateway is based in Riyadh, founded in 2015 and having raised around twenty-one million dollars. He served as its chief executive between 2016 and 2018 and has continued to steer payments innovation there as a co-founder. Between 2014 and 2018 he co-founded and led Logicware as chief executive, and before that was chief executive of the Government Innovation Center under the Saudi e-government programme, where he contributed to the development of digital services within government bodies. He studied at Carnegie Mellon University. He takes part in public discussion of fintech innovation and digital payments in the region, including the leadership dialogue series at Columbia University hosted by its Saudi student association.
