Barbara Gottardi is the founder and chief executive of Finbridge Global, a global accreditation platform that assesses and compares fintech companies to cut the request-for-information process between financial institutions and their technology partners from months to days. She founded it drawing on her own experience as chief information officer at HSBC, Vanguard Europe and Admiral Money, and on the recommendations of the government-commissioned Kalifa review of UK fintech. She is also chief executive of Wedlvr, which supports companies through digital transformation, and a non-executive director at Cashplus Bank. Born and raised in Conegliano in Italy, she moved to Dublin to study before building her career in the United Kingdom.
