Ayman M. Al-Sayari
Governor
Ayman M. Al-Sayari has been Governor of the Saudi Central Bank since February 2023. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and an MBA in finance from George Washington University in the United States, is a CFA charterholder, holds a credit analysis certificate from Chase Manhattan Bank and completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School. He joined the central bank in 1999 and in 2003 was seconded for three years to the capital markets department of the International Finance Corporation, part of the World Bank Group, in Washington. He served as Deputy Governor for Investment between 2013 and 2019, then as Vice Governor until his appointment as Governor. He sits on the boards of the Saudi Fund for Development and the National Debt Management Center and is a member of the investment committee of the Public Investment Fund.
