Aqeel Ashiq

Vice Principal

Aqeel Ashiq is Vice Principal at Misk Schools, where he leads the design and implementation of whole-school co-curricular and enrichment systems focused on leadership, resilience, purpose and applied learning. His work centres on how schools intentionally translate national ambition into everyday practice, so that youth capability development is coherent, scalable and culturally grounded. He has worked across a wide range of UK education contexts, including state, academy, grammar, independent and higher education, and has served as a trustee at an inner London school, bringing a system-level perspective shaped by governance, implementation and cross-context practice. He holds an MBA from UCL, has completed executive education at Stanford Graduate School of Business, and is a published author. His current focus is strengthening the alignment between school capability development and national youth initiatives, and how young people are prepared over time to represent their communities and the Kingdom with confidence, values and professionalism.
