Anna Olliver is Senior Associate Director for tunnel and ground engineering in the Middle East at Jacobs. She is a chartered engineer with more than twenty years of post-graduate experience in the design and construction management of major tunnelling projects, with particular depth in sewage and water transfer programmes, and has served as a trusted technical adviser to Qatar's Public Works Authority and to Abu Dhabi's sewerage services on their deep tunnel sewerage schemes. She brings together the civil and mechanical design requirements of water transfer programmes with modelling and stakeholder conditions, and has published on tunnel lining design and the practical challenges of building large diameter sewer tunnels.
