Amy Oldenburg
Head of Digital Asset Strategy
Amy Oldenburg is head of digital asset strategy at Morgan Stanley, a role created in 2026 that she took up in February of that year, overseeing digital asset strategy and execution across the bank's institutional wealth management and asset management divisions. She has been at Morgan Stanley for more than two decades, joining the emerging markets equity team in 2001 and leading the emerging markets business from November 2021, where she drove the unit's digital asset strategy. Her approach integrates crypto and tokenisation into the firm's existing infrastructure rather than treating them as standalone offerings, and she describes the bank's digital asset work as having moved from the fringes into core operations. In public appearances she has emphasised the importance of self-custody infrastructure for digital assets.
