Amnah Ajmal is the founder and chief executive of SheKnows, a digital platform launched from the United Arab Emirates that connects senior women leaders with C-suite executives through private one-to-one sessions and offers structured pathways designed around specific career moments such as stepping into leadership, returning after a break or changing direction. She was previously executive vice president for market development at Mastercard across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, responsible for the profit and loss of eighty markets spanning merchants, telecoms, governments, fintechs and digital players, and before that led the North America product organisation for consumer and small business payment solutions. She joined Mastercard in 2015 as head of products for the Middle East and Africa. Prior to Mastercard she headed the consumer banking franchise at Standard Chartered Malaysia and retail banking strategy for Indonesia, Malaysia and Taiwan, and worked at Citigroup in the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, the United Kingdom and Poland.
