Ambareen Musa

Ambareen Musa is chief executive for the Gulf at Revolut, having joined the company as its United Arab Emirates chief executive. Originally from Mauritius, she holds an undergraduate business degree from RMIT University in Melbourne and an MBA from INSEAD, and started her first online business at twenty-one, a property portal for international students in Australia. She moved to London in 2004 and worked at GE Money in marketing, financial literacy, customer advocacy and e-commerce, leading the first online financial literacy initiative in the United Kingdom. Before founding her own company she set up the consulting arm of Mastercard Middle East and Africa, then in 2012 launched Souqalmal, a financial comparison and insurance platform in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, leading it as chief executive until it was acquired and turned into the financial education platform Yabi in 2022. She is co-author of a book on entrepreneurial opportunities on the internet.
