Alisele Mwigani
Digital Literacy Educator
Alisele Alfred Mwigani is an educator, librarian and digital learning specialist with more than 14 years of experience in international schools in Tanzania, Ethiopia and Saudi Arabia. At One World International School Riyadh she is Head of the PYP Library, Digital Literacy Teacher, Research Skills Teacher and Events Coordinator. She helps students become confident researchers and responsible digital citizens, combining technology, literacy and inquiry-based learning. Her professional interests include information literacy, artificial intelligence in education, academic research and educational innovation. She holds a master’s degree in information studies and a Master of Education, and she is pursuing a PhD in information studies at the University of Dar es Salaam, researching how university students use artificial intelligence to access scholarly information in higher education. She is a published researcher, a conference presenter and an advocate for lifelong learning.
