Akshata Namjoshi is an equity partner at KARM Legal Consultants, where she heads the fintech, gaming and emerging technology practice, having been promoted from associate partner. She works extensively with crypto and tokenisation projects and has advised crypto exchanges, blockchains, payments platforms, crowdfunding platforms and game operators on structuring, licensing and regulatory matters, alongside strategic advice on corporate structuring and investment rounds. She holds a bachelor's degree from the National Law Institute University in India and a master's degree in law from the National University of Singapore. Before joining KARM she worked with leading law firms in India and the United Arab Emirates, advising individuals and corporates on banking, mergers and acquisitions, corporate debt restructuring and corporate governance.
