Ahmet Kayhan

Chief Payments and Digital Assets Officer

Ahmet Kayhan has been group chief payments and digital assets officer at VEON since April 2026, based in Dubai, leading the group's expansion in financial services and digital asset capabilities as part of its headquarters leadership team. He brings more than two decades of experience building and scaling digital platforms, developing technology-driven financial ecosystems and leading international expansion and complex strategic transactions. He joined VEON from DgPays Group, where he led global growth as head of international operations, and was a board member of NEOPAY, one of the leading payment service providers in the United Arab Emirates. He studied at Istanbul Technical University between 1995 and 1999. VEON is a telecoms and digital services group operating across several emerging markets and building digital financial ecosystems alongside its core services.
