Mr. Al-Shubbar's responsibilities include overseeing the Group's Strategy, Treasury, and Corporate Finance, Investment, and Insurance. He serves on the boards of several subsidiaries, including Rawabi Energy, Rawabi Human Resources, Rawabi Electric, and Equatoriale Holdings in Singapore. Mr. Al-Shubbar brings a wealth of over 12 years of banking experience in both Corporate and Investment Banking with reputable institutions such as National Commercial Bank (NCB), Samba Financial Group, Banque Saudi Fransi (BSF), and Gulf International Bank (GIB Capital), where he served as Vice President in Investment Banking. He holds a bachelor's degree in finance and economics from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) Business School, and has attended training programmes and conferences in credit risk management, corporate finance, and global markets, bonds, loans, and sukuk. In 2024, he was named Saudi CFO of the Year at the Saudi Trade Finance Summit CFO and Banking Awards.
