Abdulrahman AlMubaraky is country manager for Wise in Saudi Arabia, leading the company's entry into the Saudi market and its relationships with regulators and banking partners. Wise is a London-listed British company specialising in low-cost international money transfers and multi-currency accounts, built on infrastructure that connects domestic payment systems in dozens of countries to reduce the cost of a transfer while improving speed and exchange-rate transparency. His work in the Kingdom is part of the company's expansion into Gulf outbound remittances, among the largest remittance markets in the world given the many residents who send savings to their home countries, and includes building local partnerships and aligning the product with Saudi Central Bank requirements.
