Abdelrahman Abuzarifa heads the Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) department at Mohammed Al-Ojaimi Contracting. HDD is a trenchless method used to install pipelines and cables beneath roads, waterways and other obstacles without open excavation. Mohammed Al-Ojaimi Contracting was founded in Dammam in 1976 and works in contracting, infrastructure and energy, with 100% Saudi capital and a first-grade contractor classification; its clients include Aramco, the Saudi Electricity Company, Saudi Telecom Company and major companies and government bodies. It is the origin of Alojaimi Holding, whose business grew into Riyadh, Makkah, Jeddah, Madinah, Hail, Tabuk and Sakaka and which today comprises 21 companies across five sectors with more than 7,000 employees.
