The Saudi Media Forum is expanding its international footprint in its 2027 edition, targeting more than 300 speakers from around the world alongside the participation of roughly 250 media companies and institutions, according to Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harithi, chairman of the forum, who said the gathering is being positioned as a platform for dialogue, expertise exchange and examination of the shifts reshaping the media and communication industry.

Al-Harithi noted that the forum is continuing its outreach to international media leaders and organizations, a push he said strengthens Riyadh's standing in the global media landscape and widens avenues for cooperation and knowledge sharing in content production, digital transformation, multi-platform media and the development of media talent. The event is scheduled to run from 1 to 3 February 2027 in Riyadh, as listed on the Saudi Media Forum 2027 page.

The participating outlets span Europe and Asia, including France.tv, the French public broadcasting group that serves a wide range of audiences with news, programs and television content; The Telegraph, the British newspaper and multimedia news platform covering politics, business, culture and sports; and The Sunday Times, the British weekly known for in-depth reporting and analysis within The Times group. The roster also includes dpa, the German news agency that supplies news and information to media organizations worldwide, and ITV News, the news arm of the ITV network and one of the United Kingdom's largest television institutions, with national, regional and international coverage.

From Asia, the South China Morning Post, the Hong Kong-based outlet known for in-depth coverage of China, Asia and regional and international affairs from an Asian perspective, is taking part, while GIVEMESPORT brings a digital sports media platform offering news, analysis, interviews and sports content to a global audience. AGBI, a news platform focused on business and economic affairs across the Middle East and North Africa, joins with analysis and insight on markets, investment and economic sectors.

The mix of institutions, according to the organizers, reflects the breadth of the forum's international reach and the diversity of media traditions present in its program, supporting the exchange of expertise, expanding cooperation between media organizations and enriching debate on the future of the industry and the technological and professional changes reshaping it globally.
