Environment Minister Patronizes Opening of Fifth Middle East Poultry Expo in Riyadh

The fifth edition of the Middle East Poultry Expo 2026 opens its doors in Riyadh under the patronage of the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli, running from 4 to 6 October at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, with the theme "Innovation Today.. Production of Tomorrow."

The exhibition brings together 400 exhibiting companies and entities from 45 countries, with an anticipated attendance exceeding 16,000 specialized visitors from inside and outside the Kingdom, according to the organizers. About 18 percent of participating entities are making their first appearance this year, a figure the organizers say reflects growing interest in the Saudi market and the investment opportunities available in the sector.

The first day features the awarding of winners in the inaugural edition of the Poultry Industry Excellence Award, which spans five categories including Lifetime Achievement, Excellence in Community Responsibility, Influential International Partner, Leadership in Biosecurity, and Leadership in Production and Manufacturing Excellence. The award aims to honor pioneers, institutions and international partners who have contributed to developing the sector and enhancing its competitiveness in support of national food security.

Held across 20,000 square meters, the current edition draws wide participation from local and international companies specialized in poultry, feed, animal health and nutrition, and related technologies. A scientific program accompanies the exhibition with 20 scientific seminars featuring experts and representatives of local and international companies to discuss the latest developments, technologies and practices in the sector, as well as modern solutions to raise production efficiency and enhance the sustainability of the poultry industry.

The event is positioned as an international platform connecting global companies with the Saudi market and regional markets, allowing participants to learn about sector developments and needs, explore investment and commercial opportunities, and forge partnerships. Its fifth edition comes amid the growth of the Kingdom's poultry sector, driven by government support and partnership with the private sector to boost investments and develop supply chains, contributing to food security goals under Saudi Vision 2030.
