National Construction Festival 2026
About the event
The National Construction Festival is a public event held in the outdoor area of the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center from 7 to 10 December 2026, as one of the events of the Global Future Projects Forum & Exhibition. It is the forum's open face: while its other events are occupied with contractors, project owners and funders, the festival opens its doors to school pupils, students of technical and vocational institutions, and the general public.
Its method is live demonstration: interactive displays and hands-on teaching workshops showing modern construction technologies and advanced building methods, alongside competitions in which entrants carry out real work in front of visitors across three areas announced by the organiser: professional plumbing execution, realistic welding simulation, and concrete foundation reinforcement. Three audiences are named in turn: school pupils at the foundational stage, students from vocational and technical institutions engaged in practical field applications, and general visitors.
Its stated aims are to spotlight young Saudi talent in the construction sector through competitive showcases, to bridge education and the labour market with industry-relevant practical experience, and to raise technical skills through hands-on application and career guidance in realistic environments. Attendance requires registration, and the organiser has announced neither an admission fee nor the permitted age groups. The daily programme across the festival's four days is still under preparation and has not yet been published.
