Omar Alrifai is Technical Head at PTV Group, the German transport and traffic planning software company headquartered in Karlsruhe. Founded in 1979, the group develops solutions for traffic modelling and simulation, transport network planning and fleet route optimisation. Its best-known products include PTV Visum for transport demand modelling and PTV Vissim for traffic simulation, used by government planning bodies and engineering consultancies in many countries.
