CEO
Nazir Muhammad is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Green Watt Company for Energy, a Saudi renewable energy company established in 2016 that specialises in energy management, energy conservation and environmental sustainability. The company grew out of an energy services business serving the oil and gas sector since 2005; with the launch of Saudi Vision 2030, its team saw an opportunity to align that experience with the Kingdom's environmental targets. Among the products Green Watt has developed locally are solar tower lights that replace diesel lighting towers on oil and gas sites, mobile solar generators that run in hybrid mode with diesel generators to cut fuel use and emissions, and a tubular skylight system that channels daylight into warehouses and factories, thousands of units of which have been installed by Saudi Aramco. He sums up the company's approach as first reduce, then produce. Its clients include SLB and Halliburton. The company has installed more than 9,000 solar street lamps in NEOM and is working on solar-powered off-grid camps for the AlUla and Amaala airports. In April 2025 it signed a distribution agreement with Tembo, a VivoPower subsidiary, to distribute 1,600 electric utility vehicles across Saudi Arabia over five years, valued at up to an estimated USD 85 million.
